North Norfolk Workout Project
This is a great opportunity for two people to set up and make a success of the Project. We are looking for energetic, well organised people who enjoy working with a wide range of people, are practical, resourceful and have experience of a range of practical conservation skills. Both posts are subject to a successful enhanced CRB checks.
This project is supported by Natural England through Access to Nature as part of the Big Lottery Fund’s Changing Spaces Programme.

Workout Project Officer
Salary: £18,849 pa
Term: 35 hours a week
Location: North Norfolk
Ref: NWPO
Closing Date: 6th July 2009
You will be responsible for setting up and running the project, working with partners to recruit volunteers and organise the programme of activities.
You will understand volunteering and will have led people before. With the Project Assistant, you will lead practical activities on local sites and organise three community challenge events as year.
Based in Cromer, you will promote the project and be responsible for record keeping and reports using your good IT skills.
Workout Project Assistant
Salary: £17350 pro rata pa
Term: 21 hours a week
Location: North Norfolk

You will co-lead practical environmental activities helping people with sensory or physical disabilities or learning difficulties to improve their health.
You will assist the project officer organise the activities and promote the project.
You will also enjoy working with a wide range of people and have good practical conservation skills, experience of leadership or supervision, good IT skills and a full clean driving licence.
