Norfolk Playbuilder Funding

In 2009 the Department for Children, Schools and families (DfCSF) allocated just over £1 million to Norfolk County Council to be spent over 2 years on developing 22 new or refurbished play areas. Funding is targeted at developing innovative and inclusive play spaces which are aimed at children aged 8 – 13 years.

The funding has been allocated and North Norfolk District Council was successful in securing £100,000 for the development of 2 new play areas which have been established in Fakenham and North Walsham.
