Public Consultation - Impact Assessments

WE ARE INTERESTED TO HEAR FROM YOU

We have recently completed a review of some of our services and policies to check that everyone can use them and that they don’t have an unintended negative impact on members of the community.  These reviews are called Equality Impact Assessments.

The next stage is for us to consult residents and interested groups on our findings.  They are available for you here to comment on., please submit your comments to us by 12th February 2010. In addition to this consultation, we are working with residents and community groups to test our services and act as mystery shoppers.

We are interested to hear about:

  • Any difficulties you may have when trying to use the services listed below. 
  • If you think the solutions we have found will make real improvements.

Impact Assessments


Impact Assessments are the Council's method for assessing the effect of its services and policies, or the likely impact of it's proposed services and policies on residents and employees in relation to their ethnicity, gender, disability, age, religion and belief and sexual orientation.

A number of council services have undertaken Equality Impact Assessments and these will shortly be available to view below:
