Our regular band nights offer young rock and classical players the chance to "get connected", work with professional musicians and play together. For ages 11-18 years

Provides opportunities for young musicians (aged 11+) to gain orchestral experience through regular rehearsals and public concerts.
The cost per term is £5

WANTED-YOUNG PEOPLE PASSIONATE ABOUT MUSIC
For the NATIONAL YOUTH MUSIC COUNCIL
Do you know a young person from the East of England who is passionate about music? We are looking for young people to become ambassadors for music in Youth Music’s 10th Birthday Year.
Aged between 16 and 21, they should have a passion for music and for voicing opinions about music provision to national organisations and government. They need to commit to attending national meetings 3-4 times a year (generally in London) and taking on some tasks in between meetings (roughly 5-10 hours per month). They can be involved for as long as they want but we would expect a minimum of one year.

There will be chances to attend national music events and festivals as well as advise Youth Music and the wide music education sector about how to develop music making opportunities which are what young people want and need. Application is open to anyone no matter what their musical background-they don’t need to have taken part in Youth Music funded work.
