Health is not only about not being ill. North Norfolk District Council works to improve people's health and wellbeing through its environmental, housing and fitness services, and in partnership with other organisations including the NHS.

Norfolk County Council is a key statutory provider of welfare services across the county, while there is also a range of voluntary and community groups across North Norfolk providing welfare information, services and support.

North Norfolk District Council in conjunction with St John Ambulance runs Emergency First Aid at Work courses at the Council Offices, and also offers other health and safety related training.
