Community Safety

North Norfolk Safer Communities Partnership

"We will work with local communities to tackle crime, disorder and anti-social behaviour to keep North Norfolk a safe place in wich to live, work and visit."

The Partnership has undertaken its third 3-yearly audit to identify issues of crime and disorder most predominant within the District.

Following the audit, the Partnership developed a Strategy outlining how the issues are to be tackled. This Strategy (our third) reflects a change of emphasis on what constitutes a 'priority' for the Partnership. There are still Government national priorities that must be addressed, but more importantly, our local communities now have a louder voice which the Partnership must listen to and then take action to address the concerns raised - local solutions to local issues is our mantra!
