Cinemas Return to North Norfolk
Rediscover the pleasures which were once associated with going to the "pictures" - meeting with local friends, music playing you in and out, intervals and ice creams. Village Screen is a network of voluntary groups in Norfolk using the latest in digital technology to bring big screen cinema to rural venues across the county. Co-ordinated and managed by Creative Arts East in partnership with Sheringham Little Theatre, the network loans equipment to groups and trains volunteers as projectionists. Voluntary groups choose the films they wish to show, promote the screenings and manage the events.
