The new NNDC programme of family fun days in some of our finest parks and woodlands and most beautiful beaches for 2010.

Events at Bacton Wood 2010
Sunday 4th April
Start trail from 1.30pm to 2.15pm
40 minute walk 		Easter egg trail,
Wonderland,
Prize for all children 		£2.00 per child
Under 3’s 50p
Thursday 15th April
Start 10.15am – 12.00pm 		Creepy Crawlies,
In depth study of the mini beast,
Learn how your favourite mini beast lives in its habitat,
Make your own mini beast to take home 		£1.50 per child

 
Holt Country Park Events 2010
Sunday 11th April
Start trail from 1.30pm to 2.15pm

Tuesday 13th April
Start 10.15am – 12.00pm. 		Creepy Crawlies,
In depth study of the mini beast,
Learn how your favourite mini beast lives in its habitat 		Make your own mini beast to take home £1.50 per child
Sunday 6th June
Start 1.30pm – 2.30pm followed by guided walk on Holt Lowes at 2.30pm – 3.30pm 		Pond dipping and guided walk on Holt Lowes.
In depth study of the creatures in a pond.
Learn how your favourite pond creature lives in its habitat.
Take a stroll with the ranger and explore Holt Lowes. 		Make your own pond creature to take home. £2.00 per child.
Under 3’s free entry
16th July
Start 8.30pm, Moths 10.30pm. 		Nightjars and moths
Explore the wildlife of Holt Country Park of night jars, moths, deer and many more animals that venture out at night.
Walk with local expert Peter Walton. 		  £2.50 adults,
£1.00 children
North Norfolk District Council beach events are held at Mundesley, Sheringham, Cromer and West Runton.

NNDC has completed an exciting summer programme of family fun days on some of our most beautiful beaches, please keep checking for new events.

  • Whilst every effort is made to keep to these dates and times, NNDC reserves the right to cancel or change any event at short notice. 
  • For ALL events children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. 
  • Please dress accordingly and wear sunscreen.
  • Please note there will be a charge for parking. 
  • Dogs are not permitted in the blue flag areas on the beach.
