Agenda and Minutes

Agenda for Parish Council meetings are published the week before. At the July meeting, Councillors agreed to hold a meeting in August, and this will be on Tuesday 12 August 2008, in the Jubilee Hall, Banningham - commencing with the usual 10 minutes public speaking time at 8p.m. Refreshments and the chance to talk informally with councillors from 7.45p.m. Police representatives, District and County Councillors are invited to all our meetings.

Parish Councils are also required by law to have an annual meeting of electors once a year - this is the Annual Parish Meeting, and is usually held on the 2nd Tuesday in March, and takes the format of reports from the various organisations on which the Parish Council is represented, plus a report from Colby School, the Clerk, and ending with the Chairman's Report of the past year. The Council also arranges a speaker or speakers on topical items - this year 's meeting focused on Highways, with our speaker Martin Dixon from Norfolk County Council.
