Police Surgery
PCSO Alex Spinks will be holding a surgery on Satuday 16 August, 2008 between 10a.m. and 12noon at the Jubilee Hall. No need to make an appointment, just turn up.
Telephone contact is 0845 456 4567 and email is SNTnorthwalsham@norfolk.pnn.police.uk Alex regularly attends Parish Council meetings and is in regular email/telephone contact with the Clerk. If you can't make the surgery, you can use either of the above methods to contact Alex and his colleagues.
Norman Lamb's Constitutency Surgery Tour
Norman's annual constitutency surgery tour will soon be under way! He will be at Banningham Crown on Friday 5 September 2008 at 11.15a.m. No need to make an appointment, just turn up.

Quality Council Status
It's official!!! Colby's application and portfolio of evidence went to the accreditation panel today (24 June) and was awarded Quality Parish Council status. It's a reflection on all the hard work put in by the Councillors on behalf of the community- and helped by the excellent level of participation from the community in the Parish Plan.

Local Government Review
It's important to let the Boundary Committee have views on their proposal for a Unitary Norfolk. The consultation closes on 26 September 2008. You can view all the documents on the website - there is a link via North Norfolk District Council's website www.northnorfolk.org but what you must remember is that the status quo is not an option - at this stage. The Boundary Commitee will analyse all the submissions and put their final recommendation to the Minister on 31 December 2008 - a further 4-week period will follow and it is during this time that a case for the status quo may be made.
