The paper describes the work undertaken to stabilise a cliff failure at Clifton Way, Overstrand, which occurred in the early 1990s. The cost of the work undertaken for this scheme was approximately £1.34 million pounds while the total cost of the works, scheme design and associated expenses was about £1.75 million.
