Contracting and Tender Opportunities

The Council advertises contracts currently being tendered in accordance with our Contract Procedure Rules. For contracts over £50,000 this will normally include an advert in the local paper (ie Eastern Daily Press), a relevant trade journal, the Council's website and the Contracts Finder website portal.

Where contracts exceed the European tender limits, the Council is required to advertise the opportunity in the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU).

Current Tender and Contract Opportunities

Tender for the Management of Municipal Putting Greens, Pitch and Putt Course and Bowls Green

The Council is seeking expressions of interest from individuals or organisations to tender for the operation of facilities (all or individual facilities) for the 2012 season to include:

- Daily setting out of the courses
- Issuing playing equipment
- Collecting money (money to be retained by the operator)

The contract will be for an initial period of 1 year commencing April 2012 with the potential for a further 1 year extension subject to mutual agreement.

The successful applicant(s) will be required to enter into a formal license agreement with the Council and provide satisfactory references.
