For permission to place Goods and Amenities on the Highway ( including tables and chairs ) in towns and parishes in North Norfolk ( excluding Cromer) please contact Highways at Norfolk County Council. Such applications may be capable of being made on line.
In Cromer, the District Council as agents, operate a specific scheme. The code has been drawn up to make it easier for Cromer town centre businesses to get permission to put advertising boards, goods for sale, tables and chairs and other items out on the public highway. The new system came into effect on 1 January 2009. The scheme will continue to operate within Cromer for a further 12 month period (2010). Existing permits will be renewed provided nothing has changed. If there has been changes, please contact the Licensing Team as a new application will be required for which a fee is payable.
Applications for Cromer cannot be made on line. The application will be determined within 28 days from the receipt by this authority of an acceptable and complete application.

For a valid application we require ALL the following forms/documentation in order for the application to be processed. Incomplete applications will be returned.
